Joe P from Michigan has a 55 Safari!

I recently met Joe P from Michigan and here is his sweet 1955 Safari. Joe was on his way back to Michigan from the pickup in Boston.

That rear bumper looks like a bumper from a Avion brand trailer.

New name plates

Even though I have tons of work left, it felt good to get the name plates back on. Polishing was cancelled due to RAIN!

Here is the cool old plate where rig was purchased in 1955 or 56. Blakeney Trailer Sales, Newburgh NY. Anyone ever heard of it?

Love shaving rivets!

I'm getting tired of polishing!

Polishing is a labor intensive dirty job but someone has to do it. Lessons learned: Do not polish in the sun; Wear old clothes; wear gloves; listen to great tunes; drink plenty of ice cold beer.
